    Yep my thoughts exactly. I'm thinking that a 292, 465/208 to 3.73's with 35's would be plenty of gearing. Those straight sixes can lope down to pretty low RPM's and still have enough torque to get the job done. I had an old FJ55 with similar gearing and it could crawl just fine down to about 300...

    Thanks! I did just check and it's definitely 5/8" hose. So, 1/2" NPT to 5/8" hose, easy peasy. Now to just the old one off without breaking it. Got some liquid wrench and am going to start spraying it every few hours with that.
