yup....I have deduced that someone was either in the bed and fired by mistake or someone was shooting at the bed( it is a replacement for me so I have no history). that bullet hole is from the inside out -

Switching to dumbo mirrors
I did not have any reinforcing , backing way back when I went to dumbos. The metal on the door actually split due to closing the door over the years and the weight of the mirrors.- Ken B

Can someone tell me what the double "L" shaped piece is on the sides of my seat? what does it do and is it oriented correctly. I took it apart so long ago I do not recall which way it was facing. Can I just delete? what is it for? -

Power door lock conversion
door lock switch question......i need switches for my doors, looking at LMC some switches are 70 bucks for 79-81 trucks 82-87 are 9 bucks,,,anyone know why the price difference? i have suburban doors as replacements looking for switches and since i dont know the year of the doors just wondering...- Ken B

Chrome bumpers comparison ?
I had the back of my amd front bumper clear coated so the back wouldn't rust and creep to the chrome. It hasn't been in the real world yet. Truck is at the body shop still- Ken B

Off to the body shop so it will not be multi color any more. Probably be a few months at least.
