    I did think about that when i was looking at it one day, compared to the rotting out mounts for my k25 1980 which had a one piece driveshaft but if it had been there 99% likely it would have been bent to crap by neglect and being old and the mount would have blew up or something lol

    using dielectric over nothing will decrease fretting corrosion so as I said, not optimal but not at all a problem because of the connector terminals type If you use it sparingly and not smash into the cavities it will generally help and not hurt much anyway
