    Storage for parts, or storage for tools? I'm always in a bind cuz my house stuff is mixed up with auto. Lack of space don't help. But I'll take a tool box any day.

    Yeh when I installed my ORD brace, it's smack dab right against the proportioning valve. Any tighter, I'd be relocating it.

    put bed liner on the whole thing. If someone can't tell from simple text that simple primer to protect it and CONTINUE to protect it (over possible a year or so easily) pushes your douche, do ur thing dude.

    dadgummit.....can't find the post a higher up/super regular posted with an H-pipe right behind the transfercase. It was more a wide U shape than H. Anyone remember? After my muffler "tune" it decided to blow out the muffler case. Went to another shop and had both changed out for $200 welded in.

    my opinion, put primer on it. When you see discoloration/surface rust....scuff the surface rust off and spot hit it. Long term and don't want to keep an eye on it, do the above. Cheaper if you keep an eye on it. Not that difficult. Really for surface rust, it would take less than a minute...

    on this subject, are there differences in timing covers/marks? Or could it be balancer? When I was a young pup I did the same as he did and it screwed things up. The fix was to have an old school mechanic tune it by ear with brake applied. Sorry to hijack a bit, but going by the timing light...

    specs: LS truck engine with a BTR torque cam (not much more than stock...had to upgrade springs only for the cam). Guessing 330 HP cuz it's not tuned. 2.25" dual exhaust.
