    LS3 6.2 Engine Fuel Lines

I ran hard line from about the firewall to the filter pressure regulator close to the tank. Flexible at the ends to allow options. PAC-625 is a good hard line to use. When I ran mine I just bent it by hand to fit the frame. 'Course when I did my swap it was $28/25' of 3/8'. Forgot it's...

Rough Idle, smells rich, P0171 and P0174 codes on 5.3L

just noticed this post. I've had the same lean condition (both banks) as you since 2 years ago after putting a 4.8 engine in place of a LS swap 5.3. The 4.8 died, so I rebuilt the 5.3. Still getting the same codes. All I did was change the block/heads (no pcm/harness/intake...nothing but the...

What have you done to your square lately??

sucks you had to make 6 trips. They should have told you exactly what you needed on the first trip. Went through it with 2 boats here in KY. Each took 2 visits and a waiting period for them to research the numbers etc.

    PSI 8.8L big block

I think there's also a trick using a longer crank pulley bolt that is longer? I wanna say LT1 but not positive. All I can remember is I've got a longer bolt for the crank. I can't remember if it's for install or removal. I'll dig around my posts and youtube and see if it will help. [edit]...

    Let’s talk PCV systems.

very nice article, thanks. the other one I read didn't get any where near as technical as that one.

    Let’s talk PCV systems.

read up on those earlier. I'd like to eliminate intake vacuum as the "end of flow". Use it as a source to trigger, but not in the flow. Yeh I know, I'm thinking too far out of the box lol. My question is, if the vacuum (edited) FLOW to the crankcase is always ON, can it hurt performance?

    Let’s talk PCV systems.

I've been looking at one for my LS install. Reading up on naturally aspirated vs vacuum assist, the only concern I have with naturally aspirated is you have to wait for it to get hot and build up pressure. With how nasty the intake was when I did the swap, I installed a can and it was...

When to stop trying to fix all body imperfections?

can get you replacement fenders for ~$125 each from a guy in Danville, KY. He drives around area states a lot for his regular job. Wouldn't surprise me if he was in your area (free delivery when he's in your area). I've been getting stuff from him for years and no complaints. Another example...

    Installing a factory tach cluster in a 1987 V10 350TBI. Do I need a tach signal filter?

Sorry Gander, little hijack. Is this true for say an 86 k10 speedo? I'm using cable currently off the transfer case. Any benefits to using the vss signal on my LS swap? Calibration? If comments take this away from yours, we'll put a stop to it and I'll put up another post. Thanks Dude
