    Sliding rear window gasket?

What benefit does the locking strip have? Does it just hold the glass in more securely?

    Sliding rear window gasket?

Thank you for the info. Does that locking strip typically come with a new gasket or is it separate?

    Sliding rear window gasket?

Pics 2 Here is what I have. The thinner, black frame is what the truck had installed when I bought it - I just removed it about an hour ago The wider aluminum frame was in the bed of the truck when I bought it and has been sitting in my backyard for 5 or 6 years now I want to go ahead and...

That looks great! What is the shelf behind the seat there? Is that a custom thing you made?

Got new door strikers installed, and new mirrors with black finish on both sides. I am converting from power to manual windows. New regulators should be arriving tomorrow. Once I can get the windows rolled up and the arizona dust out, I'll start on the por15 kilmat and new vinyl flooring

I really tried lol. But I gave up when I couldn't even get a tack weld to stick properly. At the rate I was going, it would've taken me a few years. 1500 well spent I say

Just picked the truck up from the body guy. 1500 for new floor pans on both sides and a cab support on the driver's. Im fairly happy with it, other than bothbfloorpans have a spot that indents when I put weight on them. I'll have to see if I can find a way to shore those up a little. Otherwise...

    '84 K20 Suburban re-wire

I used the Painless kit when I retired my 77 awhile back. The instruction book is the fame changer, especially for someone like me that didnt know much at all about electrical

I gave up on trying to do the metal work myself and took it to a shop for pans and rockers. The guy says I'll have it back in about a week. From there, I have POR15, kilmat and new vinyl flooring to go in.

Getting ready to start back up on this now that the hottest months are over with. Wanting to get interior finished before winter (truck driving season in Arizona) starts. Since my last post, I've got all of the body mounts replaced except for under drivers floorboard. I still dont have the...

    Digital dashes

I installed my DD kit along with that bracket a few months back. The bracket is great, but only allows for like two BIMs. I had two that wouldn't fit and had to zip tie them up under the dash. I'd rather have saved the money and zip tied all of them instead of shelling out for the bracket

    Dual tank install

I converted my 77 to the newer style efi tanks, valve and switch. It wasn't terrible. Took me a few weekends of a few hours each. I really do like having the dual tanks, and the redundancy in case one pump fails or something, as I take my truck out on trails alone quite often

    Suggestions for replacing this?

Who here has done the Energy Suspensions body mount bushings? Im looking at the diagram and it shows the cone shaped bushings on top, with the smaller end of the cone facing into the bushing sleeve. It just doesn't seem right. Can anyone confirm proper orientation?

I ended up taking the old one along with one of the new poly bushings to a local metal fab shop and they whipped one up for me
