    Bad grounds or bad switch. Pull the headlight sockets then test the bulbs and sockets for power.

    If the t-stat craps out with the sender located on the housing, then the engine can overheat. I have never seen a set of headers that block the sender from being located on the head.

    I put an bed on a c&c, with the rear tires centered in the opening there was a larger than "normal" gap behind the cab.

    If it was me, I'd look into a Gear Vendors OD unit, not cheap, less work than a gear swap.

    If you have a standard transmission maybe the input shaft is holding the crank up, if an automatic maybe it's the torque converter/flexplate.

    I'm not sure if loosening every bolt that holds the crank in place will help, (from the balancer to transmission)

    My '74, 350,SM465, & 203 has a 12" clutch.

    Buy an autometer diesel tach part #3788, clamp the pickup to the housing, follow the instructions and you are good to go. KISS, there is no need to re-invent the wheel.

    The tach that I put on my 6.2 NA had a pick-up that clamped to the housing. I don't recall where I bought it or what brand, ask mr. google.

    I've had doors for my '37 GMC shipped via Greyhound Bus from CA to MA. I don't recall the cost but I didn't have heart failure. A bunch of plastic parts shouldn't be a big deal. I needed to pick up at the closest bus terminal, just a thought.

    I've had pretty good luck with "Gunk" engine degreaser. Smells a lot like kerosene and safer than gasoline.

    If on a budget, pop out a good stud to measure and match it up at your local parts store. Don't be surprised if it a 12m x 1.5.

    The kit I installed came with a 30amp fuse. I thought the lighting came from a fusible link off the starter solenoid.

    First pic might be for a clutch linkage pivot bracket. Bottom hole in second is oil dip, not sure of upper holes.

    I have never had good luck with Dorman hoses, whether for a 6.5TD. 6.2NA, or a BBC. I ended up using AN fittings and braided stainless hose. Your results may differ.
