    REDS NECK REPARES!~

Fixing the seal and replacing the shoes would be ideal, but I'm try to find a temporary fix until the proper repair is done. So adjusting the brakes would not help, unless I am incorrect. But there must be something that could be sprayed into the drum that would decrease friction. Graphite...

I'm stumped! Looking for BENCH seat sleeves for seat belts.

Seems like eBay or the salvage yard would be the way to go. I don't know if they can find a small part like that, but here are all the junk yards in one site with a search engine for parts: car-part.com

Installing modern seats in an older rig?

Hmm. I will have to take a look. As for the seats, I wonder if manual or electric would be the way to go. Or even ones with built in seat heaters.

Installing modern seats in an older rig?

All I'm after is the front. Rears don't matter, since they are folded forward all the time. So if I got some 2000-2007 Chevy Suburban leather seats, you figure they will bolt right in with a little drilling?

    AN fuel line kits

I have used AN fittings before. They are not my preferred setup because they are not the easiest thing to work with. They are not cheap, and you have to have all the correct parts or it won't work at all. Hoses and hose clamps are way more flexible when it comes to installation and modification...

Installing modern seats in an older rig?

So I see that some people install modern vehicle seats in older rigs. Like 2010 Suburban front seats into a K5 Blazer. Anyone ever done this? Difficulty level? Ups and downs?

    1996 c1500 5.7L - crank no start

Any update on this? If you start it on starting fluid, will it stay running? Side note: If you randomly replace parts without confirming they are defective, then you can wind up fighting yourself. For example, lets say that you have a bad _______ . And you replace the ignition control module...

    Rough country lift

One thing you can do to help is to add more weight to the vehicle. I had a similar issue and I added a Hue Jass cattle guard to the front of my rig and it helped a fair amount. Considering adding weight to the rear end.

    Tips/advise on resealing a 350 SBC?

I would look at the spark plugs, and use jumper cables to check the compression before installing the motor. You would not want to install the motor and find out its got a bad head gasket.... I would also check the oil pressure. As for seals and gaskets, ya you might as well. I would pull and...

You can swap out the diff using a "lunchbox" locker. I don't think that requires setting up the gears. $500-$600.

Bell housing / transfer case bolts

On a side note, I recommend relocating those knock sensors. Was tends to get into those areas and rust out the connections. Its a pain to have to pull the intake down the road to replace them. Or if you plan to leave them there, its best to dry that area very well and then use sealant on those...

    ProFlo 4 O2 Location

From my understanding, the O2 sensor reacts to the oxygen in the exhaust. The more oxygen there is, the more electricity the sensor produces, and the computer uses that value to calculate the rich/lean figures. However, the sensor only works when its very hot. So if you get too far away from the...

WANTED: Fender flares for a K5

I took some fender flares off my 77 K5 back in 1998 and I cant remember where I left them. I would like to find them, so if anyone knows where they are at, it would be much appreciated.
