    Update, manufacturer sending new series set of lifters and I send old back for credit. So that part is a very good thing integrity wise. Just some natural stress with hauling to builder and getting it done.

    Update: Pulled cover on D-side. Had video call with builder (propped phone) while I turned over engine by hand. We reset one rocker that lifter seemed squishy. They felt I have at least one bad lifter. I put back together and ran, noise still there. Updated builder. So, been pulling...

    I checked bolts on flexplate and converter. I also looked for any bolts from anything near rotating parts

    Reto cam and lifter kit, recommended heavy valve springs, locks, retainers by comp. I could pull valve cover er if they want me too. Based on what I think I know about preload and tightening, nothing should be loose?

    FYI, hydraulic roller lifters and roller rockers. Comp cam, stockish recommended and their recommended parts. If lifter, hoping just clogged somehow.

    I sent two videos to builder with noise and one of the break-in videos. They heard noise and thought probably lifter. So, waiting for plan. I imagine I'll need to have it flat bed over there. That will be a bummer. Feeling some denial on my part.

    Wow, we're troubleshooting 40 +/- stuff and new parts aren't assembled right. My high speed is more like medium low, and new relay nada. Resister low, med-low, med-high are fine.
