    Yep...rebuilt Q-jet arrived but it's 14 degrees outside with 30mph+ winds. It can wait. Carb on the left is the factory original...that'll get shipped to National Carburetor for rebuild and returned to me at some point in the near future.

    Oil has been seeping from the 2 center bolts of the intake manifold (passenger side). I've cleaned it up multiple times and verified the bolts were tight, but the mess would be back a few days later. Quadrajet is off (rebuild on the way from National Carburetor) so might as well try again...

    I'll be interested how it drives with the 3.73 gears. Mine still has the factory 3.08 gearing and I have to slip the clutch just a wee bit to get her rolling...unless I use the Low granny gear which I rarely do. 3.73's are on my "to-do" list...

    My old daily driver was a 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek...it was a great car and served me well. I live in the rustbelt so after 150,000 miles and 11 WNY winters with heavy road salt it was time to trade it in. Picked up a 2025 Jeep Wrangler. 3.6L V6, 6spd Manual trans, 4.10 gears and rear locker.

    I'd say they'll be ok for occasional towing. I believe the RPO code "DG4" on my SPID decodes as "mirror, west coast type, small". Grit dog: I assumed this was the OEM mount setup for my truck?

    I've been trying to find a vendor for OEM style towing mirrors too...thanks for that link! I ordered 2 from them and will post pics when they arrive. Been driving around with just one original side mirror and it's on it's last legs...glass is loose and has a small crack.
