    Turn signals and brake lights

We cover this ALL the time it's probably the turn signal switch or the wires that go to it. That took seconds. There's a bunch more including how to trouble shoot it.

    1990 Suburban Master Cylinder Upgrade

I wouldn't change anything until I figured out why my OE stuff wasn't working right. Your pedal shouldn't be squishy and then get hard. Have you adjusted or checked adjustment on your rear brakes that's a biggie a lot of people don't think about.

    Tank selector

Depends on how it fails. Usually yes it will default to one tank, but sometimes the develop a leak and depending on the severity you may or may not drive it home. Sometimes the leak allows them to suck air instead of fuel. Personally I wouldn't worry about it,there are millions or have been...

    Tank selector

Hmm my 40 year old tank selector still works fine,so I'd say reliability isn't a problem. I'd say fix what's wrong with OE parts and motor on.

    What wire under new carpet?

You know asking the guy who's going to install it is the best advice you could get. I've done lots of prewires, one person wants this, this and this. Landed here, here, and here and something else Landed here just in case. Next guy wants this, that, and that Landed here there, and here. Some want a...

Power window problem (yes I searched)

I don't remember the year break, have you looked at a schematic? They are not all the same. Some ground the motor and juggle the hot between 2 poles for up and down. The other flip flops power and ground for up and down and if I remember right nothing works if the drivers door switch isn't...

    No crank, no start.

But if it doesn't move far enough because of a cracked ignition rack the truck will not crank. See if you can move the rod further with needle nose pliers while you are turning the key

    Windshield installation

I haven't done a gasketed windshield in a long time, but first one I did I made a tool just for it. I took a long fairly skinny straight screwdriver, the kind you used to get at the hardware store for 99c. I heated the end and bent a little more than 90* so if you had it in your hand you could...

    Oil pressure sensor?

Because that is the knock sensor, screwed into the block drain. Factory starting around 1981

    700R4 to Saginaw 3-Speed Swap

For the next guy doing this I think I'd try using a pull style motorcycle brake light switch and a pull cable. They are a pull on switch. Waterproof, IDK seems like a good idea.

Looks like bad news for me

Power goes in one side of the fuse box, through the fuse, and out of the fuse box to the load. If the fuse is bad power does not go through it does not power the other side of the fuse connector to power the load. If the fuse is good ,it is what supplies power to the other terminal in the fuse box.
