What have you done to your square lately??

No dedicated vacuum in reverse. I would check and make sure your motor mounts are not collapsed, as drive train moving too much may enhance the noise you are hearing Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Ls advise

Can not help with parts in Canada, but LS3 is a 6.0 litre and 1500 series truck didn't get the 4l80 transmission. Check your casting numbers and post pictures for positive verification Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Looking for the elusive disposable Th200 Non Lock-Up

Yes, the TH350 will need a vacuum source and I think that the detent cable is different from the 200. I'm getting old! Haven't done that conversion since probably 1988! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What have you done to your square lately??

No evidence of a leak prior to the install? That is truly bad luck, but you got a great deal on that limited slip differential right? Get the crush sleeve eliminator and a new seal. Still way ahead $$$ in the long run. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Looking for the elusive disposable Th200 Non Lock-Up

I don't believe that you have to cut the cross member, just move it. We used to do these transmission swaps back in the day. I think the frame may actually be drilled already as that body was fitted with multiple drive trains

Going to look at a military K5...

Only difference that I'm aware of was 6 bolt torque converter and case drilled and tapped for the heavy duty converter cover with braces to engine

Check the bushings on the throttle plate thru-shaft for excessive wear

My 1984 K5 Plow Teeruk 6.2 Rear Diffy Is Bad...

Good to see you got it on the road again. What's the $$ difference between the Spartan unit and a limited-slip carrier? I'm going to change gears in my truck Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

What have you done to your square lately??

Then JB Weld it is! Unless that is you are in a "shady" area, in which case the locking gas cap is appropriate. Might even find a chrome model! Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Different masters

If you know what vehicle the hydro-boost came from, would suggest that master cylinder, unless either of those 2 masters you have came from a hydro-boost setup. I may be wrong, but I'm very OCD when it comes to my vehicle brakes!

    Parking Brake Sticking

Just a guess, (picture would help) probably brake shoe binding on the backing plate. Locate the pads that the shoe comes into contact with on the backing plate, make sure it's smooth and apply a light film of grease or anti-seize (that's what I use) to the backing plate and re-evaluate.

What have you done to your square lately??

Getting all of the leaks corrected means one less thing to worry about! By the way, on these old girls, tcc apply under normal acceleration was around 32-35 mph and barely noticeable without monitoring a tach Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
