Bo69, what engine type were you thinking to swap out to? The vacuum lines are complicated but not impossible to sort out. Most can be removed and blocked/plugged at the carburetor. I agree with you SirRobyn. From what I've read a stock EFE setup is effective and causes no performance issues if in proper working condition. New owner of a 1985 C10 Custom Deluxe (yea big name for base model) 305 auto. I've been looking for a number of years finally found a truly rust free C10.
