    It acts like a bad battery connection or started issue, but the battery is new and the connections are good at the battery. I'll check at the starter connection. I might pull the plugs and see if it spins any better.

I tossed a new battery in it and it eventually fired up and idled no problem, but the ground is to wet to move...

    If the leaking part has a couple bolts going down into the engine and a dome shape in between the bolts it's the thermostat housing, or it's gasket... You can get one at almost any auto parts store. And get a new thermostat while you're at it. Good luck with it.

    Ok, I plugged in some dimensions into the UPS calculator (42x50x8) and it would cost $230 to get it from Utah to NY. Thats a little bit to much for me. One question I got to ask is, Do you know for sure they're OEM doors?

    Can you locate a backing plate for the latch pin at a local junk yard? It shouldn't be welded in, that way when you need adjustment you can loosen the latch and move it around.

    Sooo I pulled the box off my 77 K10 short bed only to find the top flange of the frame rail rusted through right above the shock, a good size section of it anyways, at least a few square inches.     Looking at your pic, if the pink is at 3 o'clock and red is 6 your purple wire goes at 9 o'clock. Sounds like you need to adjust the switch.

    Bed Floor Question

    I'm starting to think the whole bed is a replacement. I need to get it out of the weather and check it out this week. It's off a black truck but the best I can tell even the inside of the bed sides are black.
