Raw Fuel Coming out the Exhaust?

OK I was looking at the spark color and it was yellow at best, testing with grounding a new plug, so I thought I'd slap a new coil in.....Still yellow. The wires are fairly new with less then an hour on them but they were probably the cheapest I could get at the time just so I could fire this...

Quick background, its my 77 k10 with an 86 305, carter carb and hei ignition I know basically nothing about the motor, I bought the truck, parked it and only started it a few times to move it around the property. It will fire right up but with rough idle ...

What do you call this panel?

Well I found the answer to my first question,Dynacorn make a "Dash Panel Assembly" for earlier chevy trucks and cars, just not ours .

What do you call this panel?

The structural steel part of the dash. The reason I ask is I want to replace my 78's with a 79 unit and I'm not sure if there is a raised section on the 79 unit where the vin would have been and would it interfere with my 78 dash pad?

What do you call this panel?

Thanks Wumbo, but I'm talking the steel panel that the bezel screws into.

What do you call this panel?

What do you call the panel that's under the dash pad and holds the instrument cluster. I'm calling it a dash panel but get zero info about it when I search for it. And are they basically the same between 78 and 79?

In need of a DA sander advice

I need to start stripping the paint off some bedsides and started looking at da's. The main difference I noticed is the cfm's they use. I assume the more cfm's the more power it has, but it would also need to match your compressors cfm output. My compressor puts out 7.6 cfm at 90psi so I...

    Re-popped Bumpers

I was just looking at bumpers on AMD's site and they say it weighs 35 pounds...seems light to me but I'll have to weigh one this weekend. I've heard they are pretty nice, but I can't confirm.

    Deciphering Engine Plate

It's pretty hard to see but it's on the top of the block basically behind the driver side valve cover. I've used the camera on my phone and blindly take pic's until I capture it.

Quick Question about coolant temperature senders/ sensors

My sender is bad and needs replacing, I need to order one but don't want to pull the old one until I have the new one in hand (and it stops raining) but I see they have two sizes, 1/2"-14 and 3/8"-18. Is there any way to tell which one it could be? the motor is a 86 warranty 350 block in my 85...

fuel delivery issues ain't getting none

It funny but that boss for the bolt must not be drilled thru to the rod as there is no bolt in it and no oil seepage. Maybe because it's a 86 warranty block? Well it's in and working great, but now the 5/16 return line is spraying gas out of cracks in the line. never saw them till now, so...
