    ISO Quadrajet

I got a 170582054 78 Chevy 350 auto carb with electric choke. Looks like it was rebuilt, and the shafts seem to be tight. let me know if you got interest, I've got a couple others I'd part with like a 77 b.o.p with straight fuel feed, and on for a 454, which I know you don't need, but free...

    Reproduction VIN plates?

I'm not sure what years used the same sticker, but if you could get a pic of an 82 from someone they would probably do it with your supplied info. With mine they did it from a pic but it ended up being larger then the original by about a quarter inch, so they suggested I send them the original...

    Reproduction VIN plates?

Check out ECS for the door sticker. I got one from them for my 78 and it was very nice. http://www.ecsvin.com/ Also there's a guy in Sweden or someplace that makes copies of vin plates but I can't find the info right now. And yes, it is illegal to swap out the plate

Where does this set of wires go?

I'm trying to help someone figure out what these wires do on his 84 half ton. He only has one side of the connector which looks to be coming out of the main harness between the motor and firewall. on my 85 k10 I have the same connector as shown in the pic which goes thru the firewall ( to the...

    Hat sections for bed attachment

I forgot to mention there's a 14 gage (0.075) plate where the rail contacts the frame. I'm thinking it's mainly to prevent the hat channel from splaying out.

    Hat sections for bed attachment

just added to the post above, I'll check the material thickness in a minute I measure anywhere between 0.093- 0.098 ...its got some surface rust so maybe it 13 gage (0.090) but might be easier to get 12 gage (0.105)

quick question for small engine guys

Ok, thanks everyone for the help. So this morning I pulled the plugs to replace with fresh ones and one was wet. So I pulled the shroud off and found (using my new feeler gauge) that I had one module way off...Old guys with failing eyesight shouldn't work in poorly lit garages.... It now runs...

quick question for small engine guys

Thanks everyone, I think I'll just start over tomorrow and see what happens, reset gaps, check carb etc. I really can't find anything on the air gap effecting the spark.
