Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

I agree with ya but the bolt pattern doesn't match what I have on my truck. If you look at my original pic there are 2 small holes drilled above and below the top weld nuts...that's where I'd have to drill it out to line up with my frame holes. I forgot all about drilling them out, I've had...

Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

Thanks for the help gilby, If I try to line the top to holes up the center to center is not the same and the plane of the bracket wouldn't match the rear bracket.

Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

well I ordered a new one so these two front supports are no use to me. But would be nice to know what they came off of.

Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

Looks like Ford and Dodge used strap hangers in that era.

Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

for reference, here's a pic from AMD's website of the one I ordered. the pairs of weldnuts are both offset in both directions and the brackets I have the top pair are inline with each other.

Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

No I'm not sure, but they were sold as GM. The rear ones that came with the set bolt on and look to be right.

Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

What, Nobody wants to take a guess? researching seems to point to all squares use the same one. (not this one) but I see some aftermarket supports have the weldnuts for this bolt pattern and also the square body pattern, 8 weldnuts total. What do they go on?

Gas Tank supports, what do these fit?

I bought used tank supports years ago for my 85 K10 and now that I need them, I find out the bolt pattern is wrong. Any idea what these fit so I can get rid of them? I've got one coming from AMD that appears in the pictures to match mine. This is the shorter front support

    Fender and Hood panel fitment

How's the gap between the hood and the cowl? if thats even , you might need to move the core support towards the passenger side. It also looks like the drivers fender is to tight to the cowl. Shime that out and it will lessen the difference on the drivers side.

Water Separator / Oil Traps in Air Compressor Lines

The Harbor Freight air dryer is supposedly a great unit, https://www.harborfreight.com/compressed-air-dryer-40211.html I can't justify the cost for the amount of painting I do, plus I'm a cheapass. I use a Moto Guard M-60 and it has worked well so far...

    What are these holes for?

Ok so I've never seen this shield before until Jgonick posted a pic of one. Then an hour later I'm looking at an online catalog from AMD and BAM there they are. Weird how that works

    What are these holes for?

Thanks joe. I've never seen one before, but it would be a good idea to shield the cabs underside. And nice truck

    Which epoxy to use?

I thought I'd add a pic of SPI black epoxy on my inner fenders that I shot yesterday if anyone was wondering what it looks like. This is 3 coats of epoxy and won't require a topcoat to make them look good. They'd look even better if I knew how to paint.

    What are these holes for?

I got new inner fenders for my 85 k10 and like the old ones they have holes for something at the bottom of the cab end of the inner fender. The old ones have long sheet metal screws in the holes but nothing attached to them. did they have a mud flap or something? See the arrows at the bottom of...

Take a look at this rust spot, please.

The roof would have to be pretty bad to get me to replace it....Got any pic's of the hail damage? Might just need a good stud gun and a body hammer or two. Or better yet see what the Paintless Dent Repair people would charge ya.

    Which epoxy to use?

SPI is an awesome product! It gets my vote, and there forum is second to none when you have a question. As is there tech line, which is answered by the company owner Barry.

Factory Rubber Cab Mounts or Polyurethane?

Last I looked they were out of stock. (LMC). I just priced the rubber sections and a set would cost 210 plus. I'll end up using the poly bushings I have for that price.

    Bed Support "Cross Sill" Options

I measured 7/8" on the short ones, I'll check again when it's a little lighter out. And they don't ride on the frame rails but maybe 3/16" above it

I'm a little late to the party here, Are you looking for dimensions for these cross sills? A quick measurement looks like 3" and another is 2.9" I can look closer if you need more info.
