    Vibration

Unlikely but possible. You have the wrong flexplate. You know, the thing that the tourque converter bolts to. Some are for internally balanced engines, some are not. That, along with a busted motor mount may do it.

How to lube the clutch peddle?

First thing you do is throw that can of WD40 in the trash. Try a can of white lithium grease. Make sure it comes with the little tube.

It's the vacuum mixer for controlling hvac doors in the ductwork from defrost to floor heat to face blast. You will need the vacuum accumulator ball under the hood as well.

Long tube headers vs short tube vs manifolds

Just don't buy cheap ass headers, if you go that way. Spend the money, buy quality. Buy American.

Squeaking under acceleration. Wobbling power steering pump pulley.

Had a truck doing something similar. On startup, the alternator belt would squeal for a little while until the battery recharged. Thought it was the alternator. Put a new belt on it, no change. Then I noticed that the alternator pulley was just worn out. The belt was riding on the bottom, flat...

    hydraulic pump

I've seen kits for sale that turn a regular pickup bed into a dumper. Pretty sure they use a 12 volt hydraulic unit. Look into those and see if you can get just the pump.

    Body Lift Question...

A little off topic but if you do a three inch body lift on a 67 - 72 chevy, you won't need the high hump floor section for clearance on a 4x4

    Door Compatibility

Either way you look at it, for nice door gaps and fitment, you're better off using OEM stuff than repops. Over the years, the reproduction stuff has got a lot better. And I have come across the thin vs. thicker glass issue. The replacement window seals on my 67 seem like they were made for...

Are all replacement brake hard lines equal?

Stainless lines are nice and will last forever. Had one professional mechanic that said he's had a few instances where the flare would not seal. They did not leak but you could see wetness or seepage at the connection. I thought about this and came up with this conclusion. Stainless steel work...

    Bed question

I could swear that LMC once offered a weld in panel to install a filler door. Came with the door too. Went back later to buy one and couldn't find it. It seems that you are talking about the round hole for gas cap. Somebody should start offering these up for sale.

Need engine help!! At my wits end

I bought a truck once that was smoking and burning oil like that. Got her cheap too. Had dual exhaust so it was easy to tell that it was the passenger side of the block. So I pulled that head, set it on the bench and guess what I found. It was the paper gasket from a quart of oil. About the...

    77 C15 305 hesitation off idle

You said quadrajet carb right. There is an adjustment on qjets that nobody seems to know about. there is a little spring, that is adjustable, that controls when the secondarys open. Its on the passenger side under a cap screw. If the spring is too tight, the secondarys open late. This causes...
