I played with all those in years past. I miss my Traxxass nitro. Had the Stampede then traded it in for the T-Maxx, back when they first came out. I used to chase the UPS truck with it at work LOL.

Nope. I have taken my spills but I know my limitations. I was trying to be pro until I was 24 and realized I missed my chance. Still skating for fun at least once or twice a week with some buddies. There are a lot more great places to skate these days compared to when I was a young buck. We had to find our own places to skate ( the streets) or drive hours for a day trip to Wilmington NC to the skatepark. Good concrete parks in the Richmond and surrounding areas. Lots of good spots to skate in NC.

if you ever wanted to kill yourself, this was the machine to do it...KX 250 with an Athena 292 big bore kit. dyno'ed at 55 hp on a 196lb bike. total e-ticket ride. hardly ever changed the front tire cause it was always in the air, even loping along in 5th, if you cracked the throttle the front tire was up on you. was best to put a lip lock on the front fender when you uncorked it...

the results of launching it off the side of the river d!ke road at about 60. went up a good 25-30 ft, like driving your bike off a 3 storey building... had enough hang time to realize this was probably gonna hurt....and it did, blew my elbow into shards when i landed. rear tire came down hard enough to smack and destroy the rear sub frame and everything bolted to it

What a great thread you guys ROCK !!! Derick, sweet toys especially love that Banshee epic machine nicely done ! Had one and only one myself, love hate relationship with that evil machine, evil fun on fire roads @ 40+ MPH absolutely sucked on the mostly slow tight trails around here ! Dan, nice stuff ! Thinking you have the same idiot riding issues I once had lol ! Lake Saranac 1997 brand new Polaris XLT Special heavily modified center punched a massive tree at what speed I don't know, sled exploded into tiny pieces, lost my helmet and a little brain matter I think and snapped all my ribs on the right side UGH !!! Bob congrats on the FXR they are the best ! I was very lucky finding my FXR3 and it was basically a mistake, big dealerships were only allocated 2 and most only 1, stumbled on mine tee shirt shopping at Spitzies in NY, salesman spotted me drooling on the seat and said you want it kid dude with the deposit didn't get financing, think I dropped a load right there, had $2K in my pocket handed it to him drove 100MPH back to home and directly to my credit union end of story lol !

my buddy had one, he used to come out wit us. i would trim right up at about 10 knots and give him a 2 ft wake to jump on.
when i wasn't making a ramp for buddy, my sidewinder with a 140 V4 would bury the speedo which went to 70 mph, but when you got up to them speeds, it had a tendency to chine walk like a mother..
