I too have the Husky version. Paid $450 for it and it's been working great for nearly two years.

I've got the older 60 gal Kobalt. I have had it about 7 years. I can't complain about it. It's done everything I've asked it to do. I did install a lever valve on the bottom of the tank to drain it after each use. The petcock fitting is too much of a PITA to use. I've used it to sand and paint my current project. Air tools will drain it quick, but that just gives a break to drink a beer.

Yes, I have the Harbor Freight auto drain on mine. For 8 bucks it's hard to beat.

A two-stage compressor for $450? How can you beat that? Where do you get it for that price?

I was able to get a good chunk off on a veterans discount, but I don't think they still do that.

Also, I bought it in store and had it delivered to my home.
Home Depot still gives 10% off with a Military ID, Veteran ID or DD214 and state ID.
