Seems that I jumped into somewhat of a job on my old truck ..
Had the vacuum brakes from the 75 K15 donor truck on it for years, it worked alright but I've got to thinking about swapping the vacuum booster to a hydroboost unit ..
Did some junkyard scouting and found one that was on a 1999 C30 ..
It followed me home ...

Marrying it to the K15 shi errr stuff turned into somewhat of a chore ..
Changed out the M/C to a new 1980 K20 which had a 1.125 bore .. the C30, being a 1 ton truck has a 1.250 bore ... Thought that would had been a bit much for my truck ...
Next part on the list to get for doing this conversion was a firewall mounting plate ..

That was super easy to do being "StreetRays" already was making one .. Just had to lay down a bit of green and wait for the 'Oops' truck ..
Ordered it to fit the 75 K15 truck ..

Being i have the K15 oem vacuum booster already on the truck was a simple thing to do ..

A little more work was needed on the firewall to allow the StreetRays plate to sit flush and since the vacuum booster is going Bye-Bye there is no need for the top two holes that the K15 booster used ..
Be welding those bad boys up ...
Another part that i felt i needed was a way to control the rear brake line pressure ..

Plumbed in a Wilwood adjustable valve to handle that job ..
Encounter another problem that stuck it's ugly head up while I was test fitting ... The brake pedal apply pin was causing a bind on the pushrod ..
