YOU the man! That is perfect! 4 feet to the center of the big hole is close enough, if not spot on. The hole looks correct and that’s what worried me. I purchased a hood emblem for my 1980 c10 Silverado. Found out it is part of the zy5 (I think) exterior appearance option. It is a GM approved part but it came without directions or a template. I never got around to hopping up that 305. Did nothing at all. She blew all on her own. I don’t think that truck was ever driven over 45 mph.... but who knows. The motor was a base long block from Chevy performance through Summit with 249 hp and 304 torque. Don’t know what a 290 is.- Tom Sawyer
