Do you actually need the dizzy? It'd be a SERIOUS downgrade for me to swap out mine... I've got really nice ignition setup and I'd hate to see it go lol.- thebrad

I'll do some digging on here. I made it through 2 pages of threads searching "tbi conversion". That Howell kit would be nice but its a little pricey. I could just buy a parts car for that much.- thebrad

So after reading about the limitations of carbs for wheelin and their obvious efficiency shortfalls I was wondering how involved/practical or would be to do a conversion? I know fuel injection requires way higher fuel pressure and a pretty intense revamp of the fuel system for most conversions...- thebrad

I've always been told NEVER drive in 4 if you don't have to but I guess since that's how the truck is set up it couldn't be that bad? I was thinking it was really strange that I couldn't kick the ass end out when I gunned it around a corner but now it all makes sense LOL- thebrad

wireing up temperary tailights
Bumping a dead thread I know. But... I had to replace my tail lights not too long ago and I figured I'd share my findings. I used the lights you het from autozone with the reverse light and couldn't get my tail lights to work for the life of me. Brake lights and turn signals both worked but...- thebrad

Yeah I think 10 should be easy with a tune up. The previous owner kept really good maintenance records (like for stupid stuff like fuses) and in the last 2 years there's no record of an oil change or plugs. I'll get a pic of the engine up soon. It's got a lot of goodies lol.- thebrad

Advise needed on some sort of console.
I had an idea to do a console with a shifter cut out and a boot that covered the entire trans tunnel. If you have people in the truck you'd just have to tell them to deal with it or find another ride haha. I don't think it'd be that hard to do... You just have to do some junkyard searching to...
