    was wondering if was possible to pull the engine and leave the sm465 and transfer case in the truck. then sit a engine back down in the engine bay and get the input shaft back through the bearing and clutch? Looks like it would be really hard to align it. have done this on several autos. thanks...

    Just got a set of mile markers at oreilys. Took autos out put new hubs in. Took about 30 minutes. Work well.

    Well I was thinking it might just be him also. I drove it a couple of days ago and all was well. Road into to town with him yesterday and it just failed. I had a pressure plate fail years ago in a chevelle. It acts just like that.
