    thanks skysurfer ya mean i really dont wanna have to pay a machine shop to go bigger i might just put teh vortec heads on it and intake and all that with a cam too we got a place around me that does dyno tune im not sure if they do older vehicles but i will call to find out

    i had a guy tell me 150 for complete 906 heads and with a 454 tbi do i need the 454 computer too or will the 350 computer work

    im new to this site im big into 73-87 chevys i had a 77 k10 i have a 82 stepside im gonna bag and hopefully stuff a 8100 with an allison in it then i have 82 fleet side 3 in the front and flip kit in the rear with a 350 i do all the work myself i fab and do everything else too engines trans...

    how easy is it to build power with a tbi 350 i got 4 layin around all run but i wanna run fuel injection on one of my 82s and i kno they will drop in there so im not worried bout that i just wanna get it around 450hp or so im just wondering what all im gona do to get there or close

    ya and the truck will be bagged so im gonna have to lift the tranny tunnel and nothing can be lower than it already is

    ya im lookin at it as i got plenty of time to do the work ill be doin it all in my garage at home and im unemployed now but i got most the tools and parts i have some dom tubing and all so i just gotta weld it up just my first time doin a bag system i have done static kits and lift kits on...

    has anyone tried to put a 8100 with an allison in there c10 im thinkin bout doin it i have a line on one for cheap 2wd tranny and all the wirin harness and computer i know i need to get a new driveshaft but what else would need to be done any frame or tranny well mods needed much appricate the help

    now is it something i can build on my own i am a certified welder so im not worried bout that and i have done some fab work before i have build c notchs and alot of other things just for fun so im just tryin to do it myself i was also lookin at doin a 4 link or wishbone style would i still need...
