Does the 86 K30 use a D52 as the stock front caliper? I'm curious because I'm looking to upgrade if it's possible. It's a single rear wheel with a Dana 60 Kingpin front axle.
I guess I wasn't the clearest. I'm wanting to run an edelbrock pro-flo 2 on my 454 and it says it's an oval port inlet for the holes. I was curious if they would work on a peanut port head.
I had a quick question, peanut port heads or oval on the intake side right? I would pull mine apart but really don't feel like tearing into the engine.
89 through 98 had the 12 valve. In 94 they switched to a P pump and all trucks had intercoolers by then. Non of the 12 valves had electronics, it was in 98 1/2 when they switched to the 24 valve that things became computer controlled.
I might be John. I guess it would depend on shipping. And thanks for the info John. I've been toying with making mine a dually as of late because I want to make it a dedicated tower/hauler truck.
I'm toying with an idea of making my K30 a dually. Is there any difference in a dually's 14 bolt FF rear end and my single wheel 14 bolt FF? As well what would the difference be with the Dana 60 Kingpin up front. And did the dually come with a rear sway bar?
I had an 84 K20 with a 6.2 in it. I didn't have an issue with it at all. The PO put cherry bombs on it and made it sound like a hopped up small block that did good on mileage. I would like to find another one only a C30 this time and put a banks turbo kit on it. They did that with an...
Those valve covers are bad ass. I'm partial to these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pro-141-805/overview/make/chevrolet but can see the lack of an oil fill slot frustrating.
Don't do it, keep those rockers. I have that kind on my 400 and they are awesome. Why not just try and find tall valve covers that resemble something that would be factory.
