    Hey guys, 1987 Silverado suburban 2 Wheel Dr. 134000 miles. Does not shift easily from 1st to 2nd gear. This is the original engine and the original transmission.     Oil Leak

    Hey guys, changed out the oil pressure sending unit. Still have a leak. Starting from the bottom I pull the oil filter. Looks fine. Removed the oil cooler filter housing. The base gasket has a tiny crack in it. Replaced it and the other gasket that goes against the block. That’s it. No leak...

    Thank you for all the replies. I change the valve cover gasket. That was not the problem. It is the oil pressure sensor. Thank you again for all your help.
