    Optima Batteries worth the cost?

    If I wanted the best AGM, I'd get an Odyssey; Enersys is a serious battery manufacturer of all types (I used to work for a competitor of theirs). That said, I don't see the point of anything more than a Duralast Gold in any of my cars.

    Usually my '08 4Runner, but the burb gets a couple days a week. The 4Runner has the 4.7L V8, Fox coilovers with remote resi in the front with Fox shocks and some lift coils in the rear.

    I got my 33's before the lift, and I didn't notice any rub in that couple of weeks before the lift went on. However, I didn't really have it offroad or flexed out in that couple of weeks, either.

    I think you'll want 985-24-052 for the front and 985-24-054 for the rear. The front has a 10" travel and rear is a 12" travel.     Yeah, they're a "tweener" tire that tries to be AT & MT, but not as aggressive as maybe a Duratrac. I'm really liking the road manners on them so far. The guys at the tire shop gave me the business about not putting the letters out. I had them out on my 4Runner once, and just didn't like it...

    I have Dick Cepek Trail Country EXPs and like them a lot so far. Haven't put them through much of anything off the pavement (and no snow yet), but they ride nicely on the highway. I looked really hard at the Falkens, but got these around $164 each (35x12.50R15).

    Got new tires today - 35" Cepek Trail Country EXP. Haven't had them off pavement yet, but they ride very nice and are much quieter than the feathered Kumho's they replaced.

    I have these, and like them as well. Don't run an LED bulb in them since they're reflectors, but a nice H4 bulb is good.

    Ran to AutoZone to get some wire loom, and found a two-wire pigtail. Cut the old one out, got the new one in, loomed, secured, and she fired right up. Thank you all for your help - it's greatly appreciated!!

    Hi all - had a little fun a couple days ago when the wiring that powers the fuel pump ended up laying on my exhaust during a 60 mile drive. The plastic on the connector melted through, and then the metal in the connector shorted to the exhaust pipe and blew the ECM-B fuse. I got it rigged up...
