How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles?
I hear often about 6.2 Detroits going to 300K miles and more, but can they really do that? My 1990 K5 Blazer with a swapped in 1985 6.2 Detroit Diesel w/h the ATS Turbo Kit which is at 85K miles (the vehicle itself has 279K miles) ... Update: The surging stopped....took me by surprise
A few of you may know me from my 6.2 posts about my motor surging, well, it stopped....I powered it on today and it ran without it surging. It would usually surge after 10 minutes, 1 hour later and it's acting normal, the ONLY thing that puzzles me is this: It does do a TINY bit whenever I'm...- nycxjeremyy

Eratic behavior from a 1985 6.2. Requesting help please
This is genuinely confusing me, the first half of the video is of it idling, it then began to surge out of nowhere, this is all after I changed the fuel filter, added howes additive and used diesel 911 to ungel the fuel last week, it actually ran relatively well after doing that and then today...- nycxjeremyy
