LS/T56 Transmission swap
Did you ever find a t56 what I did was post an add on ls Facebook pages and craigslist and I had a bunch to choose from I spent 1900 for a fully built tick performance complete tranny with stage two monster clutch and flywheel and the guy threw in an ls1 intake- Nmittlesdorf

LS/T56 Transmission swap
I am in the process of doing a LS1 / T56 swap into my 87 but I'm going buckets because the shifter is about 3-4 in front of the bench frame and won't shift down even with my hurst short throw shifter- Nmittlesdorf

I have an 87 swb and I am in the middle of my project it's a Iron block built 5.7 ls motor with T56 tranny the shifter is around 10" or so farther back I was going buckets so I never mocked up my bench but I'm pretty sure it won't work without modifying something- Nmittlesdorf

Price on 4.8 w/ 4l60
Thanks guys for the help I'm picking up a 5.3 / 4L60e with harness and computers for 650 it was running and driving the guy robbed the serpentine system off of it I think I got a good deal and gonna be reliable and I'm hoping to get my money back off of selling my fully operational drivetrain- Nmittlesdorf

What's a legitamate price on a 2006 4.8 w/4l60e and harness with 100k on the motor Little background I have a 1987 gmc sierra with 5.7 and sm465 and I am wanting a good reliable drivetrain that will get me around 20mpg not worried about power or anything just want a driver not a garage queen...- Nmittlesdorf
