Flatbed conversion
I'm converting my 79 k10 from a shortbed to a flatbed. I have access to a free 90's ford flat bed, and I wanted to know if anyone has tried something like this, and what modifications it would take?- nickdaddydollar

I thought it looked a little high also. There's a lot of space between the tire and the fender.- nickdaddydollar

I'm in the market for some new tires, and possibly some different wheels for my 79 k10. Im running 31/12/15 at stock ride height, and they kinda look silly IMO. I'd like to fill the wheel well a little more, and I like the taller, thinner tire look. Plus I'm hoping to get a little better mpg...- nickdaddydollar

Why do you love your TH350?
Sounds pretty technical MikeB. Thank you for the response. How do I remedy low RPM torque, and torque converter stall speed. It's not so much spinning the tires that I'm after, I guess I was just expecting a little more get up and go than what I actually have!- nickdaddydollar

Thank you in advance for any input you may have. I just bought a 79 k10 franken-truck, (not the original motor, transmission, rearend) and am beginning to find out more and more about my truck. I know that my truck has a 350, with a 4bbl edelbrock carb, and has a TH 350 transmission. My question...- nickdaddydollar
