Have to store outside. Truck Cover?

I got the cheap LMC cover for mine to keep the dust off, but it's stored inside... If I don't crack the windows, it will get moldy inside the cab, even when stored inside with the cover on. Yes, generally speaking covering is better than not covering, but...

    24 volt CUCV

So basically, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.... That sounds like a good plan to me.

    24 volt CUCV

Once this is all over, I'll be looking at a 1986 CUCV that will be put back up for sale. As far as I know the electrical system has not been modified, which means (I think) it's set up with 2 batteries, 2 alternators, and at least some of the components run on 24v. I plan on using this truck...

    Door panel plastic restoration

I dug through my pictures and found this one. Obviously it's not a closeup, but you can tell the color is now solid tan instead of dark brown with white milky stains on it. My cousin finished the truck and I picked it up the morning of our wedding, which was in 2013. I haven't noticed any...

    Door panel plastic restoration

Does it look like this? My cousin does body work. He sanded it and sprayed on the tan colorbond from LMC. Looks great now.... sorry, I couldn't find an after picture. I thought I had one. Just know that the tan from LMC is not the same dark-ish brown as what I assume the original "saddle"...

    Chevy Sport

I was hoping to get that as a Christmas present last year, but no one came through. When I went to the store to buy one for myself they were all gone. I have seen photos with the white roof, but I don't think all the Sport's all were like that. I know mine did not have the white roof when it...

    Chevy Sport

Check out the rust holes on the driver side of the bed. You can literally see through it.

    Chevy Sport

This is a coworker's truck still in original condition. It's sad to see such a beautiful truck not being taken care of, but restoring it would cost a lot of money.

    Chevy Sport

Every time I mention what my truck looked like, people seem to be interested. When I bought it, I didn't realize how special the truck was (the stripes are long gone). So I thought I would share some brochures I've found that explain what the Sport program was in 1976. There were other...

    Stepside Tonneau

Actually, Rusty it's the original base color, Tangier Orange. I haven't decided whether I will put the stripes back on it to bring it back to factory.

    Stepside Tonneau

Previous owner of my truck had an upholstery shop make a vinyl snap on tonneau years ago that is shrinking and I can't get all the snaps snapped. I like the looks of the cover, and I think it sets my truck apart from other stepsides without being obnoxious. Besides that it protects the all...

    Swapping TH400 to 700R4

It's a KAA, so according to the second link it's from 1974-1979 and has 3.07 locking. So what does that mean for me?

    Swapping TH400 to 700R4

Where can I find the gear ratio?

    Swapping TH400 to 700R4

I don't know a whole lot about transmissions, but the transmission guy I spoke to about a 700r4 said that he takes 700r4's out of trucks and puts TH350s in them because they're so much tougher. One thing that surprised me reading this thread is that if I'm cruising at 70 mph in my TH350...
