Vent Window rubber replacement or replace?

I rebuilt my drivers door window. Everything looks & fits great, but they don't seal worth a sh*t! Wind noise, and water from a carwash comes in. I can usually do these types of things with success, but not this time. I do not see anything in what I did that is wrong, and it all looks good &...

    Headliner

The only things holding it in place is the outer trim and the sunviser brackets. Trim screws do hold the outer trim to the cab. I replaced mine & it came out well. It wasn't really that difficult. I used a fake suede fabric, and after I trimmed it to the general shape of the headliner board, I...

I Spy A Cool GM Truck

My opinion is that the take a nice truck & ruin it with it's ridiculous stance & giant wheels shoved up in there. I can only imagine how great it rides...

    Power steering Pump Bracket

Make sure that the bracket bolt that goes into the head is installed, if it has one. Mine was off a bit alos, no quite that bad, but then I noticed it was missing the bolt that went into the head. It lined up nicely once I installed it.

    2 inch Body Lift

I just did mine in the suspension, Very simple, you don't have to change sh*t, and your bumpers don't look ridiculous being way below your sheetmetal. IMHO, one couldn't do anything more dumb than a body lift. Take that for what it's worth...

    Beauty Rings/With or Without

I think the stainless rings will look sweet on the nice paint job. They'll also tie in nicely with the stainless mirrors

Experienced masters, please provide restoration guidance

Unless you're wanting to get the self-accomplishment feeling out of doing a resto, it is way more financially wise to buy a well done truck/Blazer that is completed, that's for sure!

Good R&R 16-gallon gas tank video?

You can't do that! It has to be from a 2nd gen camaro ONLY!:laughing1:

Good R&R 16-gallon gas tank video?

Old motorcycle inner tubes is what I used. Also, I never unbolted my filler neck from the box, you can go right in side the quarter panel in front of the tire and undo the spout & vent tube right at the tank and leave the other end fastened to the bed side. Tighten the tank straps fairly tight...

Craigslist / Facebook/ OfferUp Finds: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

I'm absolutely positive that my fenders are original paint, so all the squares should be the same. I'm sure they've varied a slight bit from year to year? You can tell that somebody resprayed the silver on the door though.

I didn't think that the front fender 2-tone was correct. It has too high of an arch sloping toward the front of the fender. Factory was more of a sloped line without an arch, and I've never seen that color on one, EVER.

Original Color of Inner Wheel Wells and Core Support?

I think they were actually a satin black, light sheen.
