I have a 1988 v 30 4x4 350 efi dually with a standard transmission sm465, what kind of automatic would work its a dump truck with plow. And with out the transmission being synchronized its to hard to plow with and now transmission is blown. Front drive shaft is on passenger side it has 4:56...

I have a v30 4x4 sm465 with a long tail shaft adapter for transfer case .I bought a hood one but didn’t notice tail shaft was shorter if I pull apart are the output(tail shaft) inter changeable?
