    Found Some Connectors

    The single pink wire one I realized was plugged into the distributor looking back at photos I took before I started taking things apart. The other pink wire with white clip plugged into the side of it and into the power terminal on the cap.

    Last night was changing out the wire sheath as the plastic split casing is all but crumbling away. And found two connectors tucked back behind the block and I don't know what they are for. I dont remember seeing them when I took out the distributor so curious as to what they are for.

    Thanks guys. Unfortunately no welder, but I like the idea of tapping the shaft holes and just tossing a short bolt in each side. And yes the headers route is coming. Soon I hope. Speaking of which... Anyone know what shorty's or mid-lengths require the least amount of retrofitting...

    So quick question without really looking into it. what is this sensor for in the water filler neck? I only ask as I am looking around at getting a new neck and filler when I do the intake and carb, and none of the ones on Jegs or Summit seem to have this extra port on it. Thanks

    Nope, definitely the quad. Man that intake looks gross with all that surface rust. So an intake is definietly going to need ordering. How hard is it to rebuild the carb? I think I know what gaskets are leaking. Anyone got a nice handy rebuild pdf?
