    GM old paint codes and does color tones still match?

    I’m wondering how the old GM paint codes match to new paints (color tones)? I have a Chevy C10 1981 Scottsdale. Paint is two tone “Exterior Decor Package” (RPO code ZY5) so that primary color is “Dark Chestnut Metallic” (code 65) and secondary color is “Santa Fe Tan” (code 60). I got the car...

    Thanks for you both, The -92 engine is C model and I assume that the donor engine from -89 is also (I have not received yet). I took some pics and the intake manifold bolts seems to be upright type. Cylinder head has a casting number 14057299 but I do not know what kind of specs it indicates...

    Replacing upper control arm brackets to 1981 C10

    I need to change new control arm stud brackets to 1981 Scottsdale. Any tips how to do it? Hammer is enough as tool? Thanks for advice... Entire frame is soon going to be sand blasted & painted so I need to fix brackets before it.
