Loose cab mount

Does dash pad go under windshield weatherstripping?
What's under there? Seems like something must be pushing it up. Dash pad normally tucks under the black rubber around the windshield. -

350 TBI needs starting fluid
My ‘87 V1500 with a 350 needs a spray of starting fluid to get going after sitting overnight. It just started acting this way last week. Finally snagged a fuel injection emblem.
Put this on tonight. It’s a tiny detail, but it’s bugged me that my ‘87 didn’t have the fuel injection emblem. Couldn’t stomach the prices I kept seeing for new ones, but finally got lucky and found a used one for $35 on EBay. Best part is it’s an original, and has just enough patina to look... -

Has anybody added an 8-track player to their square? I inherited a bunch of my grandfather’s old tapes and I’d like to use them in my square body (just like he did when I was a kid) Does the wiring usually have to be spliced in? Seat belt sleeves
Anyone have a source for the plastic sleeves that go around the front seat belts? I’m looking for original or reproduction that looks like original. I know there are aftermarket generic sleeves, but I don’t want that. My truck is an ‘87 GMC single cab with blue interior. -

Power steering pump
How common is bearing failure in a power steering pump? My ‘87 GMC 350 squeals / chirps after reaching operating temperature. Doesn’t happen exactly when the thermostat opens, but within a few minutes after. Also occasionally will start before getting that hot, maybe 150 to 160 degrees. Never...- JM in KY
