So I;ve got a question, bypassed what I thought was the safety switch, turns out it was the dome light switch. So I see another switch inside the door frame, and I can manipulate it and if doesnt feel like it works correctly anymore, but how do I get to it? I can see anyway to get this door...- havaduner

Fix Slamming Doors - Striker Door Latch Repair
Man, what a simple fix! I was trying to figure this one out ( I didnt know there was supposed to a bushing none of my doors have one) One more thing off my list to take care of. BTW, I bought a foot for .39 cents, so I didnt over spend either!!- havaduner

Ok now I think I screwed the pooch. I got in the back, got the inner panels off, and it has a regulator, no cable. The p.o. had the ground cable twisted around the bar that goes from the regulator to the window 'cradle" I got it straightened out and out of the way, and asked my helper to try...- havaduner

Thanks for the replies. It isn't making any noise or anything, and I don't see lights dimming when I hold the switch. I'll get back there and pull the inner panel off and see what I can find, and at the very least, I have a way to get the window back up while I try and get it figured out...- havaduner
