Inner mirror bracket for driver's side doesn't seem to fit

Well I think I figured out my own problem. I noticed that the hole on my original door was higher than the hole on the new door. It's about an inch lower. Once I move it up, it is much closer to fitting. Old door New Door

Inner mirror bracket for driver's side doesn't seem to fit

I bought new premium doors from LMC and am working on installing the mirrors. The "dumbo" mirrors. The passenger side went great but the driver's side inner bracket seems too short. It's just under a 1/2" from the outer shell. At this point I'm planning on welding in a short piece to make it...

    Dumbo Mirror Question

Question about the inner mirror bracket on the drivers side. When I bolt the bracket on the inner door, it sets just under a 1/2" away from the outer shell. I don't see that the door is made that poorly. I feel like something is wrong though. I may just modify this bracket so it is the...

    Procomp 69 center caps

They do look removeable but I don't think it's going to look very good. Someone on facebook said Comp should make specific caps for my axle. I'll have to ask them. Thanks everyone.

    Procomp 69 center caps

I have an email in to Procomp but I figured I'd also as you guys. What does Procomp expect to be done on the center caps on the front with manual hubs? These will go on an '83 K20. I think I can take off the top of the cap but I don't think that will look very good. Don't they make a specific...

Can anyone tell me what this is?

It was hanging under the dash of my son's 83 K20, about at the center, close to the ash tray. I'm looking at schematics but it's a chore trying to find anything out. The only thing it has written on it is AC. Thank you,

Why is it so hard to find a rear shock mounting bolt 1980 Chevy K20 - Help Please

Yea I was getting all sizes for all kinds of applications. And the usual sites like summitracing and jegs were not much help. Either way, all is good. And now a link has been posted here in case anyone needs it. As long as they know how to search. :)

Why is it so hard to find a rear shock mounting bolt 1980 Chevy K20 - Help Please

I have searched and searched. Maybe I'm just an idiot but I can't seem to find the correct part. I'd rather not weld it to the frame or have a custom bracket built. This bolt just goes right through the C channel of the frame, no extra mounting brackets. Can someone help me find this part...
