    Okay . Just received the 3m strip caulk. Preparing before I start reassembling. Does anyone have recommendations on the fasteners? The nuts that came from the factory are almost all dinged up and not reusable. Should I go stainless or any suggestions would be greatly appreciated here. Thanks...

    I have now decided to replace my heater core. Simple and near completion. I have one question. Should I use some kind of adhesive on the firewall? I have the inner fender out so it will be easy to access the bottom bolts . Thanks in advance . Really a good group of knowledgeable guys on here...

    Ok , after a little soap as suggested on the throttle cable , I went inside the cab with a small flat tip screwdriver and held the cable. A little pry and it went easy ! I used some super glue to put the gasket on the firewall after wiping and cleaning it with acetone to remove old debris...
