My 86 C1500 SWB project is going in a different direction now. A quick run down... I bought a low mileage 2004 Chevy Express 2500 with the 6.0 gas for scrap price because the van body is completely rotten but the motor and tranny are...
I see the 4 pin connector but I don't think it's the right shape.
Here's a pic I found online of a DR44 plug on the back of the alternator. Hope im not making this frustrating :sorry:
When it comes to electrical I'm completely lost ... electrical is my weak point and I absolutely hate it with the passion. If anyone here could help me out with how to properly wire a DR44 alternator in my 86 C10 it would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks for the input lusktommy. I did some searching around online and found a manual choke kit. I think im gonna give it a try

Ok so here's my issue ... ive got an Edelbrock carb ( Not sure what model :sorry: ) and it has an electric choke that isn't working. How hard is it to make it a manual choke with a cable ?
If you can post some pics to help me out that would be great !
