When i take the tailshaft off, it does not apear as i have the part in question. I have attached a pic to show the part. Do all 700r4's have item 958 and 374? Also this yoke...

    TV cable geometry

I ended up buying a new TV cable and a different bolt on TV corrector for the carburetor. Now everything is working as it should. The edelbrock adapter may not have allowed the cable to pull out far enough or the junkyard cable was stretched? I dont know. Now I have to figure out why the...

    2 cycle gas mix ratio

I have an old Jiffy ice auger that has a mixture ratio of 24:1 on the fuel cap. There is info on the jiffy website that says I can now use 40:1 mixture ratio. It's because the oil quality is much better

    Door Seal to big

I was slamming mine fairly hard after putting in new LMC ones. I then put some pex pipe around the striker and it is way better. Then new striker had a piece of plastic around them from factory. If your striker is missing the plastic, try the pex pipe trick

    Bump Stops

I trimmed the new ones I got from LMC. Just enough to get them in there. They aren't coming out on their own even after trimming. Lots of lube as well

    Metal work

Don't forget to have a good look at your front cab supports as well. They are prone to rusting out

Like everyone has said it's either the throw out bearing or pilot bearing/bushing. I will attach a picture to show where the pilot bearing/ bushing is located

    Headliner questions

I used 1 can for my regular cab. I would get 3 for a suburban, maybe 4. I tried to use gorilla glue adhesive spray first, but that has to be the worst spray adhesive I’ve ever used

    Headliner questions

Permatex has the best spray on adhesive for headliners. I bought my foam backed material off Amazon. It was the only place I could find it
