    Stockvs Ram horn manifolds

Yup… you’re right, not sure where I got 330 from Maybe I was thinking of one of the available GM crate motors from around that era.

    Stockvs Ram horn manifolds

I have nothing against ram horns, I just don’t believe they are better than other manifolds with exception given to the 2.5”. I also am not a fan of headers for all the reasons you mentioned… ETA: You do have a good point about early SMOG era manifolds, at the end of the SBC’s use in GM cars...

    Stockvs Ram horn manifolds

I guess the Chevelle, Camero and Impala SS’s could have had the 2.5” ram horns, I assumed the ram horn was for fitment in the Corvette with the other cars using a rear exit manifold. Vortec manifolds are quality stuff for being EGR manifolds, the 96-99 trucks were rated for 330 HP which is...

    Stockvs Ram horn manifolds

The only reason for the common belief that ram horns are better is due to the 2.5” ones pictured above from a H.O. 327 Corvette. The vast majority of ram horns out there are no better than any other manifold.

^^^^ 2.5” are the only ones worth while

    Seams that need sealed?

You could always just go crazy and smear a few hundred dollars worth of body filler if the seams and spot welds bother you ;)

    Seams that need sealed?

I can’t compare to the 2K sealers but I did most of my truck in 3M 1K Urethane (#08362) there was another type I used but can’t remember. All of my seams turned out fine. One thing to note is some of them are rated for DTM and others need the parts to be painted or primed first. ETA: The 3M...

    85 vent windows

No sh!t…. I wish they were doing that when I was looking. The only ones I was aware of were the LMC assemblies and the were out of stock. Instead I restored my old ones which was enough to know I would pay to have them done if I had to do another set.

    85 vent windows

IIRC Precision Ruber will restore the wing window frames and seals for a price, I've never seen them but supposedly they powdercoat the frames

    Carburetor enclosure?

Those boxes are also what they commonly use to turbo charge carbureted cars. Two cents: I don't think you would get sufficient volume from any compressed air tank that would reasonably fit in a vehicle. For the same amount of complexity, cost and work involved in plumbing compressed air and a...

    Restomod vs Vintage Air

No experience with it but the first picture of the restomod kit the blower motor and controls for the dash look same as vintage air.

    Pinion angle and funky Ubolts

NAH… Those U bolts look like high quality stuff, I’d bet they clean up fine. If they are jacked up find a spring service shop, they can usually make whatever U bolts you need.

    Pinion angle and funky Ubolts

That’s what I was thinking, like they missed the center pin hole and have it in the big void of the casting.

    Parking Brake Cable Guides-1978 K10

I thought for sure I had a good picture of the parking brake cable and brackets but Here’s the only picture I could find.
