    Bright wiper arms

The mechanism in the cowl didn’t take me too long to disassemble clean and grease, I can’t say for motor disassembly though. IIRC someone on here had a good write up on rebuilding the wiper motor

    Oil Drip Locations (w/ pics)

Honestly…. Most oil leaks drip from the same locations because it will run down from wherever until it finds the lowest point to drip from.

    Quadrajet power valve stuck

Who else! I did work in a shop with a guy that was fantastic at building and tuning carbs too but most cars were being sold with fuel injection by then

Stolen truck found after 30 years

Gonna be hard in any of the Bay Area counties with annual or biannual checks. Ditching the headers for manifolds shouldn’t be too hard. Generic catalytic converter should work so long as you had it installed before 2009 (wink-wink) If it had an air pump that may be a little difficult If the...

Random power loss to engine and accessories

IDK how to test a relay other than they seem to either work or not. I’ve seen a piece of debris or bug get between the contacts and stop them from working. I’ve seen some types of relays wear out and get stuck open or closed regardless of signal from the switch…. My truck is a little older but...

    Steering column

All is forgiven... I did have a less polite version of that typed up and assumed perhaps you were unaware so I reworded it. ^^^ This Those who ask the same questions over and over and never seem to listen will either get roasted or ignored or both.

Random power loss to engine and accessories

I'm leaning towards ignition switch since it controls power to the accessories and engine. Ignition switches can wear out right in the spot where the contacts always ride, sometimes a minor adjustment to the ignition switch on the column can buy some time or cure issues. The adjustment may...

    Transmission swap questions

It was the stock transmission and it lasted all these years why change? I would build the transmission you have, maybe throw a mild TransGo shift Kit and corvette servo in while it's apart... If the neighbor is selling the 700 for cheap it probably has whatever parts you need.

Show off your non-square project cars.

Well… we redid the console today, dad had the flat pieces covered in carbon fiber vinyl but it just didn’t suit the car. We squirted some body color paint on them today instead. Here’s an older clip of the car, don’t judge… car had a few years of dust on it at this point We did have a cold...

Show off your non-square project cars.

Worked on Dad’s’56 Chebby today, trying to sort out a vibration. We think we’ve narrowed it down to a pinion angle issue so I’ve got some shims ordered. Also decided we should probably balance the rear tires since they never were balanced since new. Really struggling with picture file size...

    Steering column

Sir… Might I recommend when you start a discussion on a thread to see it through. You asked the same question on a separate thread then abandoned it only to ask again by starting this thread. I checked on the previous thread several times after I asked what part you were calling an actuator...
