    pump part that the 2 rings go on will not go down inside the cavity on the back of the forward drum. was hard to get out when tearing down pump cover no. is 8626696

    th400 trans forward drum has heavy rust on part of it can it be sanded off or do i need to replace it dont know how to send pictures yet my 4 year old will be here this weekend he knows how

    thanks guys can you tell me what those numbers mean 17-cl-43491 these are the only numbers i can see on the metal plate on side of trans also theres a big 26 stamped on top of bell housing will try to get picture of metal tag

    transmission is supposed to be th400 says 400 on plate on passenger side of trans numbers on bottom of id tag are 17-cl 43491 as best i can make out had a drum brake on trans tail shaft and has th400 oil pan is this a th400 or something else

    hello everyone. this is my first post. put fiberglass body filler over my welds but i got it to thin. can i put more fiberglass body filler over this or do i need to do something else
