    Front end assembly hardware

No Problem, for $53 bucks way better than trying to buff and repaint a bunch of old rusted bolts. The bolts are grade 8 factory spec so no-brainer IMHO.

    Front end assembly hardware

Also I used a Front End Sheet Metal Hardware 210pc Chevy Pickup Truck Chevrolet GMC Kit from ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/272019175203. Has everthing you will need.

    Mirror quality question

I bought a pair for my 79 k10 From LMC they are not the best in the world but they are stainless and look good. (See my Profile Pic) The only problem I had was that wind would blow them back so I had to put some large diameter wire heat shrink wrap on them a couple layers now much better.

    Printed Circuit Question 79 K10

Thanks to all of you for the good suggestions. The reason I had not gone for the new circuit option was twofold - one the PCB's have many different options (knowing LMC has 78-80 w/out tach) excluding the obvious tach option which I don't have for example mine has 4wd indicator some don't mine...

    Printed Circuit Question 79 K10

My problem is left turn indicator light is not working. All other gauges and lights working fine as most are new. On the back of the Printed Circuit Board the copper ribbon wire has a break in it wide enough that I will need to make a jumper. Question is how can I attach a jumper to this copper...

    Which Mirrors are BEST quality?

I also put on the stainless ones from LMC, fair quality but going down the road the wind would blow them in tightened up all the way. I had to get multiple pieces of 1.25 inch wire harness shrink wrap and put on the stem before they would stay. Be careful with the O-ring type seals on the top...

    79 k10 th350 major leak help

Just finished a two year restoration on my 79k10 stepside. There is a huge trail of transmission fluid leading up the driveway to my truck. Seems to have blown out all of the fluid while parking the truck in my garage. I searched for the leak, transmission cooler lines fine, speedo cable was...

Take a look at this rust spot, please.

What I had to do on mine was find a replacement roof from a Junker. I just needed the passenger corner where the windshield pillar is welded to the roof and about a 3 inch strip down the top of the windshield about 18 inches. Cut out my old one, welded in the replacement smoothed it up, a little...

    Transtar 2k Epoxy Primer Problem

So my truck bed (cab is done) is at a body shop where I do all the grunt work sanding, grinding, welding, mechanical and the shop does painting, bondo etc. I do all the sanding/prep between coats. One of the young guys just out of body shop school mixed/sprayed the 2k epoxy primer after I had...

Thanks for the replies, left it out in the sun each day last week, it was in the 80's and still never cured. Could dig my finger nail in and finally pulled the plug. Got 5 gallons of lacquer thinner a bunch of rags and a new respirator. Coming off with effort but starting again...ugh
