Howdy,
Last week, I purchased a running/driving Dark Blue 1990 GMC Suburban 4x4 and want to replace the carpets and soft headliner(two piece). The fabric for the headliner was removed, exposing the foam. I think the chip board MIGHT be in okay shape.
The carpet is just in really bad condition and probably unrecoverable. Are there any good specifications or recommendations of using generic fabrics and carpets to then cut into the right shape for installation? I would like to try to save some money compared to buying all new form fitted pieces.

Thanks!

Welcome Jack. You can get some headliner material at a fabric store and use a good spray glue to replace that. As far as the carpet goes I'd go with an ACC brand that you can get at one of the suppliers or even Amazon which is where I got mine I believe.

Exactly what I was going to say, Ive done 3 ACC carpets in my truck and put one in my moms K5 when I was a kid. A lot of work but they fit great and are good quality
