I need new foam for the seat back in my truck, all my searching seems to only cover the differences in the bottoms. Are the seat backs interchangeable with the bottoms? What’s the differences?

From what I've seen, the only difference is crew cab or regular cab.

Should be 70's vs 80's and then non folding back or folding back.

70's vs 80's is different. Folding or non folding shouldn't change the foam shape.

Good morning! Just getting to this post. I have an 81 Chevy K10 with stock bench seat and I just removed the foam from the backseat of the bench. It allows me to sit back away from the steering wheel and fit “me” better. I layer some quilted packing blankets over the frame to help the thin foam that comes in the seat back and so far it’s working fine.

Bottom line, I. An offer the foam back for sale if you haven’t already found your solution?. It’s in good shape and I haven’t really thought too much about price but private message me and we can talk!

Also base trim trucks got less foamy seats
High trim got nicer foam nicer ride ones
