Just saw the dates for the 2025 Dino's Git-Down for this year.

Friday November 14 (GM trucks only)
Saturday November 15 (GM trucks and cars only)
Arizona Cardinals football stadium, Glendale, AZ
Over 8,000 vehicles last year.
Around 250 vendors expected this year.

No entry fee, no awards (only vendor prizes)

I can't wait to make the 3,000 mile (or so) round trip out there.

Yep, I keep up with Robbie's videos.
I wanted to go this year since it's the "15th" year.
I'm close to I-40 in Memphis, if we could ever meet up

For what it's worth........

The day (Sunday Nov. 16th) after the 2 day Dino's show, the San Francisco 49ers play at the stadium where Dino's is held.
The hotels in that vicinity jacked up their rates right after the NFL schedule was rereleased.
Nice !

I'm about 30-40 minutes away from the stadium if anyone wants to camp in my backyard.

So who all is heading out this year?
I'm going Friday most likely but may go Saturday for the raffle/ drawings:

GM 572 BB, 800hp Supercharged LS from Blueprint, 4l80 from Hughes, wheels, etc

Last year after a guy won a motor, Summit went ahead and gave the guy a trans to go with it parts to complete the truck.

Went to the show today. Parking wasn't too bad and it felt like there was an increase in smaller vendors in addition to the regulars.

The smaller vendors had some cool niche products. There was a cool lower door panel that had 2 cupholders and a pocket that I plan to order. And AMD had their door panel next to the LMC panel to compare and you could feel how much better the AMD panel was

Can you post more info in the lower door panel? Sounds interesting. Thanks

My buddy and I made the trip out, 2 trucks. 7 days total, ran and stopped a lot on Route 66 going out.
Left after the show on Friday, home about 3pm on Sunday.
It was 3,255 total miles round trip.
Old truck never missed a beat.

So 3 of my buddies road tripped to Dino's from the east coast, Kyle's (kdfannin) from southern Maryland around DC driving his '90 6.0 swapped 'burb, he picked up Matt (xlcoopxl) in Myrtle Beach and then they met up with Josh (YeahBuddyGarage from Daytona) in Leed's AL at Buccee's and rolled west on I40.

Early in the week, before they left, I'd sent this '05 GMC Sierra RCSB with 95k miles and a few tasteful mods to Matt on BAT. Long story short, he'd had a dark blue '01 or '02 GMC single cab back 15yrs ago and has missed it ever since. I sent this to him just as a joke since it was also in AZ, only 30mi from Dino's. All he said is "why did you do this to me?" Remember this.

Josh lost the 4L60 in his blazer around Amarillo, TX and managed to find a trans shop that had one in stock. They stayed late and swapped it out for him

Kyle lost an inner wheel bearing on his 'burb, thankfully he caught it in a parking lot of The Big Texan and it didn't fail running 90+ on the interstate. Josh Uber'd to go pick up his Blazer, stopped at the parts store and got all 4 bearingss and new seals for Kyle. 2hrs in the parking lot and back on the road

So I'm sitting here at work, enjoying my Friday cigar, finishing reports and watching the auction. I'm watching like a hawk, refreshing the page every 30sec or so, there's 4 guys initially. 1 bows out at ~16k, another bows out around 18k, so it's Matt and one other guy. Matt's drunk and goes into F this guy mode about the one other bidder and both me and his wife are egging him on lol. The other guy starts talking smack in the comments but finally bows out after Matt's 23k and change bid lol.

Saturday night I get a video from inside the truck as he's driving it back and him saying "this is all your fault Zachary" lolol. He taped up the hood for the trip home cuz the hood/roof and tailgate were fresh paint (cuz of AZ sun fading)

On the way home, they thankfully didn't have any issues other than Matt dragging the trans crossmember off of the new truck lol. He stopped at a rest stop somewhere in SC a few hours before he got home and sent this pic, said it was 15yrs apart. He's kinda having buyers remorse at the moment but that was a good buy of a good truck, I know he'll be super happy with it in the future. Pretty awesome story too, travel all the way across the country for a truck show, randomly buy a new truck and drive it all the way home. Wish I'd been there with them.
