My c10 has no electronic th400 kickdown, as it was originally a inline 6 truck with a 3 speed

Manual Downshifting and standing in it is fun and all , bit i'd like to just have the kickdown solenoid working

Anyone here have the switch and all for a th400?
I have the pigtail that goes to the trans, but nothing more.

Thanks.

I may have one for a th350. If that'll be the same, I'll go look.
If it isn't, then I can't help you. Don't have any th400s

Do you want the one under the dash on the pedal or the one under the hood, plunger style on the carb or throttle body?

The th350 uses a cable kickdown, a 400 uses an electronic kickdown

@idahovette @Bextreme04 is this something you have to kinda adjust for your kickdown/shift point? I hope it is.... until i have fat tires and a locker, this switch will singlehandedly make drivability pretty violent.... when i was doing about 45, i manually downshifted to see what would happen, the tire broke loose, barked and spun HAHA
I am hoping i can set the throttle position that causes the kickdown

So it appears the little peg sticking out gets contacted by the pedal arm and then completes the circuit?

It's not really adjustable. It auto adjusts with a little ratchet thingy inside it. You flick it and it releases and comes all the way out. Then you put the pedal all the way to the floor and it ratchets in and adjusts to a certain percentage of full throttle.
