Not sure what to call it my trucks got a wing on the back of the cab. The second onwer told me he put it there to cover a dent. I want to leave it on there (when remove it I will rattle can it to match the ugly butter color) but dont like the rivets with silicone over them and half sticking out. Im thinking screws??? With silicone around the threads of course. What do you think?

Well as much as I love wood screws on an automobile... As far as mechanical fasteners go rivets are probably the best option in that particular location. If I was redoing this I would file the edge to smooth out the transition between the cab a little. Then either go back with rivets if you wanted a mechanical fastener or most likely would probably use that outdoor double sided foam tape to fasten the wing down. On clean surfaces that stuff holds super strong.

Well yea with the 25 hp that wing added cant keep the tires on the ground
Add that 25hp to the 135hp that 454 has and I can see you've really got something there. I guess I'll start looking for my own wing now.

I see your wing and raise you a side scoop and a hood scoop.
Don't forget the chopped top for less wind resistance. .....on a 4x4.

135 Maybe brand new on its best day. Doubt it has even close to that now.

The side scoop would be good for air conditioning at least.

I didn’t even notice that because the rest of the stuff screwed all over it really draws your attention away from that dumb ****.

I only noticed it on the second look myself. You're right though, all the other **** really distracts from the fact they mutilated the cab. Looks like it's ready to pull the lead float in a gay pride parade.
